About Mrs. McCrary

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, I thoroughly enjoyed growing up in the beautiful sunshine state spending most of my free time at the beach; however, after living in the south for six years, I am happy to now call Atlanta home.

Ever since I was in elementary school I have had an interest in teaching.  As a daughter of a teacher, I enjoyed spending time in my mother’s classroom and playing teacher with my sister.  While in college at the University of Georgia, I decided to focus on my passion for education and pursue a career in teaching.  I specified in Child Development throughout my elementary teaching program and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2009.

The summer after I graduated college I said good-bye to Athens and got married to my best friend.  Shortly after that, my husband and I moved to Auburn, Alabama and I began my teaching career.  Throughout the past two years, I taught regular and accelerated Math to sixth grade students and furthered my passion for education.

Outside of teaching, my interests include going to church, photography, cooking, decorating, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am so excited about being a part of the Brandon Family and I look forward to meeting my new Brandon Bees!
